Welcome to the new Collabs Club! This club is dedicated to helping artists create unique works of art with others!

hey, all. . . this is the newest founder/moderator, L.A. Most of y'all know me as or Lindz. But yeah, that's besides the point. We have some exciting new stuff going on this month, well, aside from Richard giving me THA POWA!!!!!

JK. . . anywho, the club is in need of an ID and Rich and I have talked and, well, since this IS a COLLAB club, we thought we'd get everyone in on the act!!! So, here's what we want y'all to do:

Note the club with a link to an original piece of art DONE BY YOU!!!! No fanarts, please!!!!! Give us what you think is your best ORIGINAL, DONE BY YOU piece. What's happening is we're gonna make a collage of everyone's stuff and we'll add to it as we get new members. The rules for submission are pretty simple, here's what to do:

Note us with a link to your work (only one per member, please), with the header COLLAB COLLAGE.

We will take poetry/songs but no stories but please understand, pictures and text will be butchered to make a mish-mash collage so give us something you don't mind having "violated" lol.

Also, we reserve the right to refuse anything we feel is inappropriate (language, objective content, etc.) so please choose wisely in your submissions.

Deadline Date

Please have all submissions in by October 31. We will accept late entries through November 1 but starting November 2 we will begin making the Collab Collage.

Also please note, though we are willing to accept late entries, we do not want to find a note from all of our members on November 1. We realize artists are notorious procrastinators, but please be aware of and respectful of the deadlines.

Just a reminder from your club founders, the deadline for submissions to the Collab Collage Project are due by NO LATER THAN November 1!!!!!!! Please hurry and send us a note with the link to the piece you wish for us to include!!!!!!!!

UPDATE: 26 NOVEMBER 2006

Wow, this club is full of lazy people. Albeit, I have been busy and haven't been very active within the club either, but still, it's November 26, 24 days PAST the November 2 deadline and we STILL don't have any submissions for the Collab's Collage DA ID project.

Since no one seems inclined to provide us w/the necessary submissions to create our club's ID, does anyone have any other suggestions for a Club ID? It's rather pathetic that we've been a club for over 2 months and still don't have an ID. Come on, people, git yer asses in gear and get us an ID!!!!!

Also, if you're a member who uses the Club's chat room and have agreed to join the club, please add us to your watch list, otherwise you won't get the notices that tell you what's going on.

Well, that's all for now. Go and git us the necessary deviation to do the damn Collage and Rich and me will be happy.

UPDATE: March 22, 2007

Yeah, it's been a looooooooooooooong time. . . Rich and I have both been really busy, as has everyone else, I'm sure. Well, we're trying to get the club up and running again so we need y'all's help.

We need to get everyone involved. we've pretty much given up on the DA ID collage thing, but we'll still take submissions if you haven't already submitted anything. Don't know when we'll actually get the damn thing DONE but w/e.

Anyways, we need a new moderator 'cause just the 2 of us ain't workin' so good. Anyone interested? We'll take you on as a trial and if you don't like it or it doesn't work out, we won't hold it against you.

Also, start recruiting your friends. It's been a while since anyone's submitted anything to the club and new members are short in coming so, yeah, we kinda need y'all's help there too.
